Narin Guran murder indictment accepted hearing date announced
The indictment regarding the murder of Narin Güran has been accepted. The first hearing will be held on November 7. The prosecutor requested an aggravated life sentence for uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, older brother Enes Güran, and their neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying Narin's lifeless body to the stream bed.
The investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the 4 suspects arrested in the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing in the Tavşantepe Neighborhood of the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır on August 21 and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, has been completed.
The indictment prepared for the arrested defendants uncle Salim, mother Yüksel and elder brother Enes Güran and their neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, requesting an aggravated life sentence for "intentional murder of a child in the context of participation", was accepted by the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court. The 4 arrested defendants will appear before the judge on November 7.

The indictment stated that according to the HTS and narrowed-down base records, the suspects were in the same house at the time of the incident. It was emphasized that Uncle Salim, mother Yüksel and elder brother Enes Güran and their neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar acted together. The indictment stated that "It has been concluded that there is sufficient suspicion that they killed Narin Güran and committed the crime they were accused of as joint perpetrators."
