Flu vaccines can be easily administered at pharmacies
There is currently one such pharmacy in Ukraine, but soon there will be more. It will now be possible to get a preventive flu vaccine at a regular pharmacy. The Ministry of Health announced the launch of the relevant mechanism.
Vaccines will be administered by pharmacies that have undergone special inspection and have received the appropriate license. For this, the facility must have the
necessary logistics, a separate equipped room for vaccination and a waiting area for those wishing to be vaccinated. Only professional pharmacists who have received special training will have the right to vaccinate customers.
The first pharmacy that meets these requirements has already received a license. It is located on Bolshaya Vasylkivska Street in Kiev. To get a flu shot at a pharmacy, a citizen must: get a prescription from your family doctor; contact a pharmacy licensed to vaccinate; buy the vaccine at your own expense from the pharmacy; fill out the consent form for the vaccine. After getting vaccinated at the pharmacy, the citizen must provide the vaccination certificate to the family doctor.
